Madonna In Movie Premiere Texting Row
Star criticised by audience member for texting during slavery drama...
Madonna has been involved in an awkward incident at a cinema screening after another audience member asked her to stop texting.
The pop icon was watching 12 Years A Slave by Steve McQueen at the New York Film Festival with her celeb pals Jason Ritter, J Alexander and Michael K Williams, when it was noticed that she was engrossed in her mobile phone.
But when an audience member asked her to stop, she allegedly replied: "It's for business... enslaver!"
The New York Post reports that Madge left the room during a standing ovation as the film ended, but was seen rushing back into the movie theatre for the post-film Q&A session with the director.
We told you last week how Madonna had made shocking revelations about her early years in New York.
