Madonna, but it seems the Queen of Pop has other ideas when it comes to the Poker Face star.
When asked by a French reporter what she made of Lady G being one of her biggest fans, Madonna left them stunned after questioning the eccentric popstar's interest in her.
The Like A Prayer hitmaker told Le Soir: "As for Lady GaGa, I have no comment to make about her obsessions having to do with me because I don’t know whether her behavior is rooted in something deep and meaningful, or superficial.”
Ouch! Madonna's representative later seemed to play down the legend slamming Lady G, telling E! News: "I do know that [Madonna] has said many supportive things about GaGa over the years.”
GaGa has previously claimed that Madonna was supportive of her tune Born This Way - [uuid=45e78687-2682-4f88-b6e1-bb071c01f2d0]which was likened[/uuid] to her classic track Express Yourself - telling The Tonight Show that she received an email from Madge's team saying they liked the song.
The 25-year old said: "You know, there is really no one that is a more adoring and loving Madonna fan than me. I am the hugest fan personally and professionally.”
According to E! News, Madonna's rep hinted that the star hadn't been aware of any such email. Hmmm, it seems someone is telling fibs!
