Madonna Sparks Swastika Controversy
She provokes row with right-wing French politician...
Madonnahas sparked a row with a right-wing French politician after superimposing a swastika on an image of the woman's head during her new live show.
The queen of pop, who is no stranger to controversy, had a giant picture of Marine Le Pen's face projected onto the stage backdrop - with a white swastika superimposed on her forehead.
And the Daily Mail has quoted Le Pen, leader of the far right National Front party, as saying: "We understand how old singers who need to get people talking about them go to such extremes.
"If she does that in France, we'll be waiting."
The politician's father Jean-Marie Le Pen, who led the party before her, was convicted multiple times for inciting racial hatred.
Madonna also has a (more gentle) pop at Lady GaGa in her current show.
