Madonna has hinted at plans for a new album and says she is keen to work withDaft Punk.

The Queen of Pop answered questions from fans on Reddit yesterday (September 16) and also revealed that an album could be on its way next year.

Madge responded to a fan on the site: "There might be [a new album in 2014]...my creative juices are flowing...."

The star also seemed keen to talk about any plans for a new release saying that she had considered an acoustic or orchestral styled album with covers of her favourite songs.

The Like A Virgin singer also revealed that she was a fan of Get Lucky stars, Daft Punk, saying she was: "Just waiting for them to return my call."

The 55-year-old’s last album, MDNA, topped charts around the world and went to No.1 in both the UK and the US.

Outside of music, the cultural icon - whose career has spanned over decades - co-wrote and directed the 2011 film, W.E., about King Edward VIII and his affair with an American divorcee.

Madonna, who was previously married to British director Guy Ritchie, also said a new film is next on her list of things to do.

The singer is believed to be working on [uuid=dbc9c6fa-1e09-49f3-a7a7-3e9e2863c008]work called Secret Project[/uuid] with fashion photographer Steven Klein after releasing a trailer in July featuring commentary from Madonna but little is known about the work.
