Madonna and family rush back to the US, Noel's grouching off and The Sugababes hurt with Feeder...
Madonna has rushed baby Dave across the Atlantic to see her father who is currently being treated for cancer in a private hospital near the family home in Michigan.
Tony Ciccone has been going through a course of chemotherapy and Madonna wants her three children Rocco, Lourdes and new baby David to see their granddad while hes still on good form, reports The Sun.
A family pal told the tab, Its such a shame that the family are going through this secret sadness when it should be a joyful time with their new baby.
We wish 'em the best...
In other news, grinchy Noel Gallagher has launched another attack on the current crop of rock impresarios, saying theyre not a patch on Oasis in their heyday.
The grand vizier of Britrock singled out the Kooks, Razorlight and the Arctic Monkeys for particular bashing, saying they were just copying the blue print laid out by his band. And, of 'new rave' scene leaders The Klaxons' recent gig, he said: Either their instruments were broken or they didnt have a clue what they were doing it was like torture!
Alex Turner hit back by calling Noel and Liam a pair of grumpy old men, and with critics divided on whether Oasis have released anything original themselves, at least since Whats The Story (1995), some might say (geddit?) Oasis have been tracing their own blueprint themselves
Meanwhile, Feeder duetted with The Sugababes at the first of last nights War Child Charity gigs in London. The unlikely pair of threesomes played REMs smash 'Everybody Hurts' as an encore to the show that was setup to raise money for children killed and injured in conflicts around the world.
But to finish on a lighter note, Christmas is coming and the competitions hotting up! California Rockers AFI have shipped in 30 tonnes of snow in order to make their new vid Christmassy enough for the festive top spot. 48 days and counting.
