Magic Mike Cast Talk Thongs, Stripping & Bare Bums!
Channing Tatumand Matthew McConaughey have exclusively spoken to Magic Mike, revealing that a thong can soon be a man's best friend IF it's not cold.
The two actors, who get their kit off for the racy stripper movie, told us all about what it's like to bare all for the big screen, with McConaughey revealing that former exotic dancer Channing had some key words of advice for him on set.
Matthew revealed: "He said 'wearing a thong is only weird if you make it weird and it’s weird'."
Tatum added: "A thong can only betray you if it’s cold in the room, but Matthew had a malfunction didn’t you?"
McConaughey went on to explain: "It was actually more of an assault! My thong that I had on got ripped and it started to open up.
"Luckily, I felt that cool breeze coming, so I covered, tucked and rolled out of that situation. I wouldn’t have had anywhere to hold my money."
Channing claimed: "What was odd was they didn’t do that for anybody else's routine, just Matthew.
"They just went nuts for him and ripped his clothes off. It was crazy. It made me think, ‘god, did I not do so good and I’ve done this before'."
After seeing a lot more of Channing and Matthew than we bargained for, we just had to ask the Step Up actor how he coped with getting his bare bottom out in the first five minutes of the flick.
Channing said: "Well, you came for something and we are just gonna get it out there. There's not even a thong on it."
Tatum was keen to add that the shot of his behind was all his own work, stating: "There was no bum double, we couldn't afford one."
