Soderbergh Wanted For Magic Mike 2
Star and writer Channing Tatum is trying to convince director to return...
The star had been rumoured to be considering helming the follow-up to his hugely popular stripper saga himself, but he's now denied this in a chat with Access Hollywood.
He said: "We have to talk Soderbergh into it. We can't do it without our general.
"It's scary. I don't know what's going to happen."
And he sort-of confirmed that the sequel is definitely in the pipeline, adding: "Hopefully we're gonna go to Miami and do the whole thing."
Tatum has previously claimed the sequel will be more comedy-based than the original movie.
Co-star Matthew McConaughey has said he wants "more Dallas" in the sequel.
