'Mad Max' Director George Miller Wants To Direct 'Man of Steel 2' & Tom Hardy Wants To Be In It
And Tom Hardy wants to bring Bane back!
‘Mad Max’ director George Miller has revealed that he would like to direct ‘Man of Steel 2’! He let slip to MTV after rumours have already placed him as potential director for the sequel.
And to make it more exciting? Tom Hardy wants to be in it!
Word is that the Australian director, who released Mad Max: Fury Road to HUGE critical and box office success this year – could be the man to direct the Henry Cavill-starring Superman sequel after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice comes out in March 2016.
Meanwhile, Tom Hardy revealed when speaking to MTV about his latest movie, Legend, last month that if George Miller DID direct Man of Steel 2, then he would want to reprise his DC movies role as Bane in the film.
Also, Hardy wants Bane to kill both Batman and Superman.
Directed by George Miller? Shut up and take our cinema money!
As Miller explains in the MTV interview, before that he plans to make s a smaller, quicker-to-shoot movie. Meanwhile, Man of Steel 2 doesn’t even have a release date confirmedt, let alone a director signed-on..
We don’t blame Miller for wanting to do something a bit less ginormous first – Fury Road took more than 18 years to make. What would he do with a small-scale movie, after the expanse of Mad Max (and directing Happy Feet before that)?
We want to see ALL OF THE GEORGE MILLER MOVIES.
