Jared Leto’s Joker was great, and Will Smith had his moments as Deadshot, but there’s no hiding who the real star of Suicide Squad was. And clearly Warner was paying attention, because according to reports Harley Quinn will soon be heading up a movie of her own!

Well, not quite ALL of her own, as said movie will apparently focus on the female heroes and villains of DC, including the likes of Batgirl and The Huntress. However, Harley will very much be the topline star, with Margot Robbie also set to take on an off-screen role as producer.

It’s another example of the studio throwing its weight behind a female-fronted comic-book flick, with Wonder Woman also in the pipeline for 2017. Maybe if we all keep our fingers crossed, we’ll get Harley vs. Wonder Woman in a couple years time…

No other specifics have been released surrounding the film, but with DC already juggling Justice League, Man Of Steel 2, Cyborg, Shazam and a Batman solo movie, it might take a little while. Still, she should be worth the wait, puddins…
