She first made the revelation when a director of a film she recently worked on asked the cast and crew to write down the "craziest thing that has happened to them."
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter during a live round-table, Margot explained: "I had spent two months with this group of people, probably about 60 people, and everyone seems super normal."
"And then everyone had to write down the craziest thing that happened to them, and it was released on the last day, and you had to guess whose story matched up with who," she explained to the other stars that joined her at the round-table, including, Robert Pattinson, Bryan Cranston, Octavia Spence and Diane Kruger.
While Margot initially thought everyone taking part seemed relatively normal, the whole experience made her realize that everyone has a story to tell: "It just reminded me that fascinating people are everywhere. Everywhere. Someone had been engaged to the princess of Zanzibar. Someone else had been in a plane crash where only 10 people survived."
It was at that point, Margot shared her shocking AF story: "I once found, and no one guessed that this was me, I found a human foot on the beach in Nicaragua," she revealed.
Needless to say the others around the table were pretty shook, as Octavia responded: "Oh, wow, death!"
"Just the bones?" asked Diana as Bryan joked: "And she uses it as a doorstop."
"Just a little souvenir," replied Margot. We're just glad she isn't completely scarred for life, we know we would be.
