If you loved Mariah Carey in Glitter (ahem) and more recently Precious (woo) then you’ll be psyched to hear she’s getting back in the movie business: the Christmas movie business, that is.

The 45-year-old chanteuse has sold a pitch for a new festive film to New Line studio, after initially approaching Brett Ratner, of film financing company RatPac Entertainment.

According to Deadline, Mariah will play a major part in the as yet untitled movie, which we hope will allow her to don her Mrs Claus outfit. Again.

Until we have more news on Mariah Claus, we’ll be watching her ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ video on a loop, and you probably should too.
