Mariah Carey finally gave birth to her twins, a boy and a girl, on 30 April in a Los Angeles hospital.

It was an extra-special day for the superstar and her husband Nick Cannonas it was also their third wedding anniversary.

The The X Factor USAafter Simon Cowelladmitted he wanted her for the judging panel but her babies would be keeping her too busy. "She couldn't start working straight away, and they're long days,” he explained. “But we're hopeful there will be a role for her - and I'm not sure what yet - on the live shows. She wants to be involved."
