Mariah Mania Sweeps The Capital

Mariah Carey brought London's Oxford Street to a standstill on Sunday as she dropped in on HMV to sign copies of her latest album.
More than 8,000 fans queued for a chance to get their copies of The Emancipation Of Mimi signed by the diva. Mariah was due to arrive by helicopter but at the last minute opted to travel by black cab - and she gave the lucky driver a 150 tip for his trouble.
Clearly undaunted by the freezing temperature, she arrived clad in just a tight T-shirt and mini-skirt, complete with sunglasses. With 600,000 copies of The Emancipation sold in the UK alone surely she can afford a winter coat?
