The Elusive Chanteuse has organisers of a major NYC NYE party freaked that she will run late for the midnight countdown
New York New Years Eve Party organisers are not taking any chances when it comes to Mariah Carey – hiring an entire crew to ensure she performs on time for the moment the clock strikes midnight.
An entire team are on hand to ensure Mimi isn’t late for the icoinic countdown moment in Times Square after being booked as the top guest on Dick Clark’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest.
“Mariah has to be on time. She is the top performer in Times Square right before the ball drop,' a source told PageSix as panic heightens and New Year approaches.
“They’ve booked her an apartment at a top Times Square hotel for hair and makeup because they fear she’d never make it from her Manhattan apartment on time,” the source whispered.

“There’s a team of top producers tasked to get her there on time and shepherd her to the stage,” they added.
Mariah has been known to be late for gigs in the past – angering fans in Leeds in March when she was almost an hour late for a performance.
