Marilyn Mansonhas stunned fans by posing for a picture without his trademark make-up.

Russian burlesque dancer Liya De Vaudeville, a friend of the singer, first posted the snap on Instagram.

The goth rocker - who is known for his usually outlandish face paint and jet black hair - was snapped on the set of US TV show Eastbound & Down, where he was shooting a guest appearance.

The Beautiful People hitmaker is a big fan of the HBO sports comedy, with lead actor Danny McBride telling TMZ: "For some reason, I don't imagine Marilyn Manson sitting on a couch watching TV.

"I picture him hanging out in a torture chamber or something. We were definitely flattered and creeped out and felt great that he liked the show."

Manson - real name Brian Hugh Warner - has previously starred in 1997 flick Lost Highway, while also appearing alongside his ex-fiancée Rose McGowan in Jawbreaker back in 1999.
