Marilyn Manson On Acting: "There's More To Come"

The goth rocker is having a career change...

Master of disguise Marilyn Manson – who is almost never seen without his gothic white make-up, black hair and spooky contact lenses – is embracing a new career… as an actor.

Last month Manson made a brief appearance – without makeup - in US television showEastbound & Down, where he played a roller-skating waiter. He also lent his voice to hit fantasy showOnce Upon A Time, where he played a character calledThe Shadow.

And now the PVC-wearing rockstar has confirmed there is “more to come”.

Specifically, Manson will next appear in the comedyWrong Cops, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. Apparently, in the flick, 44-year old Manson plays an emo teenager who befriends a crooked cop.

Yesterday, when asked about his fledgling acting career, the star told TMZ: “Am I gonna win an Oscar? Nah, I don’t think so.”

“I act like an a**hole mostly,” he joked. “But there’s more to come.”
