Mario Kart Is Coming To Smartphones!
We can finally play Mario Kart on our smartphones! Here are all the details about new game Mario Kart Tour.
It's finally happening - Mario Kart is coming to our mobile phones!
While the release date has not yet been confirmed (all we currently know is that it's expected in sometime between April 2018 until March 2019, which is the next financial year), and we don't have any real details about the game itself, the new mobile game - called Mario Kart Tour - was confirmed via a tweet on the official Nintendo account.
"The checkered flag has been raised and the finish line is near!" said Nintendo in a tweet. "A new mobile application is now in development: Mario Kart Tour! #MarioKartTour Releasing in the fiscal year ending in March 2019."
This would add to Nintendo's library of mobile games that include huge hits like Super Mario Run, Fire Emblem Heroes, and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.
Nintendo's other mobile title, Miitomo, has sadly been discontinued and will stop working on 9 May 2018.
