Mark Ronson has brought forward the release of new single Uptown Funk following X Factor star Fleur East's performance on Saturday (December 6).
Simon Cowell's act stole the show after taking to the stage with an electrifying version of the song - which originally features vocals from Bruno Mars - with her rendition shooting straight to the top of the UK iTunes chart.
Ronson and Bruno's tune was first due for release in the UK on January 11, 2015 - with many (including outspoken popstress Lily Allen) querying why Fleur was allowed to perform the tune a month ahead of its release.
The producer has since decided to make Uptown Funk available a month early - with it replacing East's version at the top of the iTunes countdown shortly after its release last night (December 8).
Uptown Funk is the first cut to be taken from Ronson's new LP Uptown Special, which is due to hit shelves on January 26.
