Mark Ronson & Lady Gaga Talking About Working Together Will Make You Really Happy

We love it when celebrities are actually nice about each other...

High profile collaborations are a regular occurrence in the music world, but there’s something extra special about Lady Gaga’s forthcoming record and the people she worked with on it.

She’s made it no secret that Bloodpop, Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, and Mark Ronson all worked on 'Joanne'. In fact, in most of her social media posts about the new album, and lead single ‘Perfect Illusion’, she includes love for hercollaborators.

We were lucky enough to catch up with Gaga herself, so naturally we quizzed her on what it was like to finally work with her old friend, Mark Ronson. She said: “He’s a tremendous talent. He’s brilliant at music, his ear is unlike anything I’ve ever witnessed before. Truly I think his greatest gift even beyond all of that is the way that he embraces the artist and really makes you feel comfortable.”She added: “He wanted to just draw out of me as much of my personal life as possible.”

And obviously this love is mutual. We sat down with Mark Ronson at the launch of an awesome Air B’n’B competition he’s hosting at Abbey Road Studios (check out this link for all the info on how to enter), and naturally we HAD to ask him about working with Gaga.

The ‘Uptown Funk’ hitmaker told us: “We’ve been friends for about seven years and I met her just before she blew up. We’d always talked about working together and the time was just right on this record. She wanted to do something quite raw, and I really rate her taste and her ears and her musicianship and her songwriting.”

We just love it when two artists are actually niceabout each other. It’s a nice change from all the beef and feuding going on in the celebrity world right now.
