Uptown Funk Claims Fifth Week At Top Of UK Singles Chart

As George Ezra returns to No 1 on albums chart...

Mark Ronson's Uptown Funk (ft. Bruno Mars) has notched up its fifth week at the top of the Official UK Singles Chart.

The song has now had more weeks at No 1 than any song since Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines - even though they are not all consecutive (thanks to Ben Haenow).

Wish You Were Mine by Philip George was a non-mover at No 2 and Hozier's Take Me To Church rose two spots to No 3.

Olly Murs' Up (ft. Demi Lovato) was another non-mover at No 4 and the top five was rounded out by Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud.

George Ezra's Wanted On Voyage has returned to the top of the Official UK Albums Chart to notch up its fourth week at No 1.

Ed Sheeran's x was a non-mover at No 2 while last week's No 1 - Sam Smith's In The Lonely Hour - fell two spots to No 3.

Taylor Swift's 1989 stayed still at No 4 and Hozier's self-titled album rose five places to No 5.
