Mark Wright: 'I'll Never Do TOWIE Again'
Essex lad rules out a return to reality TV as he vows to keep romance private...
Former The Only Way Is Essex star Mark Wright has revealed he plans to say farewell to reality TV once and for all.
The TOWIE heartthrob famously endured a torrid on-off romance with his reality co-star Lauren Goodger during his time on the show, but broke off their engagement shortly before quitting the series in 2011.
And now that he's dating Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan, Mark is keen to keep his new romance out of the spotlight.
According to Digital Spy, Wright said at Heart FM's Have A Heart Appeal: "I'll never do a show like TOWIE again and I won't ever put my personal life on the line again. It could ruin the relationship and it puts a lot of stress on it.
"The hardest part was putting your personal life out there and I find it hard when people make comments about your relationship. I'm very happy in this relationship."
Mark added: "It's going really, really well and that's why I don't want it to be like before - always in the newspapers and talked about by everyone.
"I did it for a year and I'm quite glad I'm out of it and doing well for myself. Sometimes you just want to be private again."
Last year, Wright also revealed that he was putting his bed-hopping days behind him.
