And the Geordie Shore lass is overwhelmed by the support from everyone.
Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson is overwhelmed by the support she has received after opening up about the struggle she faced when she was "abandoned" by her mum at the age of 17.
The lass got pretty tearful as she recalled her mum leaving to live with her boyfriend in Las Vegas for four years on an episode of Channel 5's In Therapy.
Take a look at Marnie Simpson and Casey Johnson's cutest couple moments...
Marns revealed she cried every day for over a year, and even contemplated suicide: "I was only so young I had nothing. It was a very tough couple of years. Probably the darkest of my whole entire life," she said.
She added: "I literally used to want to kill myself. That's how depressed I was. I just didn't even want to be alive."
Marnie said she turned to partying to cope, revealing: "I would just go out and party for days because I just never wanted to go back home, I was so down and depressed."
She admitted: "I used to just cry from morning till noon and night. I didn't leave the bedroom for more than a year," as her cousin and castmate, Sophie Kasaei, added: "Marnie went off the rails. She had a breakdown."
The star said her mum barely recognized her when she came home: "When my mum eventually came back she said she was speechless at the state of me. I was so skinny and so gaunt in the face," she revealed.
Unsurprisingly, Marns has been inundated with supportive messages after the emotional episode as she took to Twitter to write: "Im so overwhelmed with the support after tonight’s #intherapy your words brought me to tears love you all so much."
The lasses' nana chimed in to reveal how far her granddaughter has come in recent years, tweeting: "Marnie you have grown so much in the last year and achieved so much. Your work ethic is unbelievable and you are a beautiful soul."
We're so happy to see that Marnie is in such a good place right now, and hats off to her for being so honest about a seriously difficult time in her life.
