Geordie Shore babe Marnie Simpson, who’s returning to the show next week (WEY-AYE!), has explainedexactly what is going onwith her and Ex On The Beach star Jordan Davies.

In case you missed it because your wifi’s been down, the pair sparked romance rumours when they shared aValentine’s Daydate, indulging in some cosy PDA and making us pretty excited about the prospect of a glorious new reality TV couple.

It also made us slightly sad since we received the grand total of zero Valentine's cards again this year - thanks PARENTS for not even having pity on us - but anyway.

Despite photos making it look like romance could be on the cards, Marnie has confirmed that the two are just friends, and that she thinks of him like a brother.

She told the MailOnline: “He's just me friend. He's like a lovable brother or a gay best friend, except he's not gay. Romantically, I'm not interested. He's just a lovely boy and I enjoy his company.”

As for any awkwardness between Marnie and Jordan's ex, Megan McKenna, when they attended the same charity fundraiser recently, the Geordie gal said: "I don't really know her to be honest. And (my relationship with Jordan)isn't like that (of a romantic nature)."
