Marnie Simpson Explains Her Decision To Give Up Lip Fillers For Good
Reckons it's time she embraced her natural pout.
Marnie Simpson has opened up about her decision to give lip fillers the boot after explaining that she only ever had the procedure done due to the intense and at times confidence-busting pressure of living in the public eye.
While the Geordie Shore has been completely open about her many (ten to be precise) cosmetic procedures, she's now changed tack by learning to love the body she was born with. No more so than when it comes to embracing her natural pout.
Explaining that she's more than ready to give up on the lip injections for good, Marns has finally come around to the idea of going filler-free: "I'm learning to love my lips smaller and trying so hard to give up on lip fillers," she vowed on Instagram.
"People won't ever understand how hard it is watching yourself on TV and pulling yourself apart whilst others constantly judge how you look and pick at your imperfections. Me, as someone who has struggled with body dysmorphia for almost 2 years now, has found this part of TV extremely hard."
As for what she'd say to young girls with similiar body hang-ups, she revealed: "I can't stress enough to all you young girls that your looks don't determine who you are as a person, and as long as your happy and enjoying life that's all that matters.
Giving out a final message to her fans, Marns explained that self-acceptance is a lesson she - unfortunately - had to learn the hard way: "I've leaned the hard way and made a lot of mistakes, no one is perfect and we are all beautiful in our own way."
Well spoken, Marns.
