Marnie Simpson has clapped back at claims she revealed the amount of money Vicky Pattison earned for a TV appearance after pointing out that there's no way she could possibly know what Vicky's personal finances look like.

The situation all kicked off when Marns took to her column in Starto repeat what she'd heard about Vicky's All Star Driving Test fee on E4: "I’ll definitely watch the new reality show in which celebs learn to drive in seven days," she began.

"I heard that Vicky Pattison’s fee is only £5,000, but if you think back to when we weren’t in the public eye, that is a lot of money!" she explained. "Inever turn down work because I’m lucky to be offered any money at all."

While some people took that "only £5000" comment as a little bit of a dig, Marns has now well and truly shut down speculation thatshe exposed the amount of cash Vicky is willing to take for an appearance.

"I was told this info and asked to comment," she replied in a tweet to OK! Magazine. "I didn't reveal anything, how am I supposed to how much people get paid. Get your info correct."

Yikes. Point made.
