Marnie Simpson Is ‘Anxious’ About Reuniting With Aaron Chalmers On Geordie Shore: ‘I Think He Was Quite Hurt’
Marnie Simpson is worried about seeing Aaron Chalmers in the Geordie Shore house.
It’s always awkward when bumping into an ex – let alone being forced to live with them for two weeks in the same house.
Luckily for the most of us, this would never happen. Unfortunately for Marnie Simpson and Aaron Chalmers, being part of the Geordie Shore cast means it’s basically unavoidable.
So how are they feeling ahead of filming the 14th series?
Talking in an interview alongside new boyfriend Lewis Bloor – who she started dating in the Celebrity Big Brother house immediately after splitting from Aaron – Marns is understandably is a tad worried.
She told the magazine: “I’m a bit anxious about it as I think he was quite hurt by what I did.
“It was never my intention to move on so quickly, though. Aaron and I always had a volatile relationship, so even if Lewis wasn’t in the picture we wouldn’t be together.”
So we know how Marnie feels about it all, how about Lewis, is he worried at all?
“We got together quite soon after Marnie ended it with Aaron, so my only worry is that he’ll try and wind her up,” he admitted.
During filming of the latest series of Geordie Shore, Aaron spoke of his ‘special connection’ with Marnie.
He admitted: "Literally, that girl means to the world to me and she always will. I don't know what it is, but for the last two and a half years, we've got a connection that I just can't explain.
"So, this time, I've asked her to be my girlfriend. If it doesn't work, we can always say 'well, at least we tried', because if we don't try we're never gonna know."
