Just when you thought 2016 couldn't get any worse, Marnie Simpson seems to haverevealed that she and boyfriend Lewis Bloor have broken up.

Why would you do this to us,2016. WHY??

While the pair seemedtotally loved up in the run up to Christmas and recently moved in together, Marnie dropped the news on Twitter, hinting that things have come to an end.

What's more, it sounds like it wasn't exactly her decision to call it quits

"Shout out to all the girls starting the new year with a break up," Marnie wrote in an update on her account. "Yeah, ditto."

Ouch.

The Celebrity Big Brother lovebirds previously hit a rocky patch back in October after what Marnie called an 'explosive argument', but soon made up and got things back on track.

Still, the new year is the perfect time for a fresh start so we're sending loadsa love Marnie's way and fingers crossed everything works out for the best for them botheither way.
