Marnie Simpson Sets The Record Straight About Casey Johnson Being On Dating App
Clearing up her recent outburst.
Marnie Simpson has come forward to clear up some of the rumours that Casey Johnson has been using a dating app after she herself jumped to the wrong conclusion when a fan sent her a screenshot of his profile.
The Geordie Shore lass and the former Union J singer found love on MTV show Single AF, but it looked for a second as if everything was about to come tumbling down when she took to Twitter to put his intentions in the hot seat.
Let's all get checking out a bunch of the most incredible transformations courtesy of the cast of Geordie Shore...
After a user of dating app Huggle sent Marnie a glimpse of his profile, she RT'd the message and added a pretty heartbreaking caption: "Wow. You think you know someone. They're all the same [😩]"
But taking to her column in Star to insist that she'd overreacted to the image, Marns clarified: "I thought Casey was on a dating app last week, so I tweeted that all boys are the same, but I massively overreacted.
She continued: "The app he's on is Huggle, which is for friends as well as dating, and he made his profile before we were together. Casey and I are very strong and I trust him completely."
This comes as Marnie took to Instagram to announce that she "wants Casey forever" and follows that time she posted the mushiest of tributes about him: "In you, I've found the love of my life and my closest, truest friend."
So don't worry world, the love story that proves romance turns up when you least expect it is still going strong.
