Marnie Simpson has released a lengthy statement today, after rumours surrounding her dramatic break-up with Lewis Bloor continue to spiral out of control.

The Geordie Shore babe has been through incredibly tough times this week dealing with the shocking news that Lewis cheated on her on Valentine’s Day, as footage emerged of the TOWIE lad kissing another woman.

But it was the claims which came out during the aftermath that shocked fans the most, as it was reported Lewis had ‘sponged £25,000’ from his girlfriend at the time.

However despite being absolutely heartbroken, Marns doesn’t want people to continue to believe false information.

‘Lewis did not take 25k from me it’s unfair for me to let people think that as it’s not true. And a lot of things have been fabricated through hate and callus,’ she wrote.

‘Although I did help him incredibly a lot through our relationship it wasn’t all one sided as he did help me in different ways he was kind and loving and encouraged me in everything I did, which is why I’m so torn apart by his actions, I didn’t expect it.'

She goes on to add that ‘life goes on’ and that people need to ‘stop the hate’.

‘And I don’t want the past 8 months of my life to be a total waste. Shit happens, even to good people, life goes on, stop the hate and Continue your support always [sic].’

What with this statement and the fact that she’s now hanging out with Kim Woodburn, we have a feeling she’ll be back on track in no time.
