Will The Geordie Shore Curse Ruin Marnie's Romance With Ricky Rayment?
Marnie's determined to keep hold of her new fella...
Many couples have fallen foul of the Geordie Shore curse over the years - from Charlotte and Gaz to Vicky and Ricci, Holly and James, and Scotty-T and… well, every lass in Newcastle.
In a recent interview with Star magazine, Marnsworth revealed: "It will be really hard because relationships on Geordie Shore never really work out. I'm determined to change that."
Marnie also admitted that the backlash she's getting from fans of Ricky's ex, TOWIE's Jess Wright, has upset her a little bit.
"Sometimes I do get a little bit of anxiety over because I've had so much grief and hate on Instagram and Twitter," she said.
"I've been getting a lot of really nasty, horrible comments.
"People are comparing me to his ex. I haven't watched TOWIE and I don't know what's gone on between Ricky and Jess, but I don't think it's fair to compare us. We're completely different, like chalk and cheese. I don't understand it, I'd never do that to someone."
But despite the haters, the reality TV couple are going strong - and the Geordie lass is even hoping we'll see Ricky pop up north for a night on the Toon sometime soon.
"I would love that (if Ricky came on Geordie Shore), that would be amazing. You never know!
"Me, Ricky, Gary (Beadle) and Scott (Timlin) went out and we had one of the best nights ever. It was so much fun! Geordie people get on with anyone, so they love him."
We're keeping our fingers crossed for a Geordie/TOWIE crossover.
Geordie Shore returns to MTV on Tuesday 7th April at 10pm.
