Martin Garrix Is Officially The World's No.1 DJ!
He's the youngest ever winner of DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs poll...
Martin Garrix has been named the world's No.1 DJ in DJ Mag's annual Top 100 DJs poll and, at the age of 20, he's the youngest ever recipient of the award!
The Dutch megastar who's currently riding high in the charts with 'In The Name Of Love', his collab with Bebe Rexha, cimbed two places in the publicly-voted poll, knocking last year's poll winners Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike down to No.2.
Garrix was presented with his No.1 trophy by mentor Tiësto at the Top 100 DJs Poll Awards Party in Asterdam's famous Heineken Music Hall, the opening party in this year's AMF, the largest festival of the Amsterdam Fance Event (ADE).
"It feels unreal to have won," Garrix said of his win, "I 100% did not expect it at all. I've had an amazing year, with awesome shows and amazing fans - I'm so thankful for their support. I didn't even do a campaign, and it just shows how dope the fan base is."
You can make Martin's year even better by voting for him at this year's MTV EMAs. He's nominated for Best Electronic and Best World Stage and you can cast your votes over at MTVEMA.com.
