Here’s How Stan Lee Will Appear In Avengers 4
Stan Lee's cameo has been confirmed.
As the world of comics and culture pays tribute to Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee following the death of the icon yesterday at the age of 95, we can still enjoy an onscreen movie appearance from the real-life comic book hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It’s been confirmed that the Marvel Comics co-founder had already filmed at least a couple of his famous cameos in the MCU, and that includes an appearance in next year’s Avengers 4.
Avengers 4 co-director Joe Russo confirmed in an interview with the BBC (via ComicBook.com) that Stan Lee had filmed his cameo for the film, saying, “So, we try to get him out for his cameos around the same time. So if we have other movies shooting on the same lot that we're on, for instance [Ant-Man and the Wasp] or Avengers 4, we group his cameos together and then move him from one set to the next and get him through his cameos in one day.”
So, seeing as Stan Lee had a cameo in Ant-Man and the Wasp this year, and Avengers 4 was filming at the same time, it would make sense that he filmed both cameos at the same time, by moving from one movie’s set to the other.
We were already expecting the sequel to Avengers: Infinity War to be emotional, and with Stan Lee’s (perhaps) final film appearance included, the movie will be touching on a whole other level.
