Matt Terry Says 'The X Factor Curse Only Applies If You Believe In It'
The winner has opened up about his future hopes
Since winning this year's singing contest Matt Terry's been on a rollercoaster of fun and craziness but he has said he doesn't 'believe' he'll be affected by the dreaded X Factor curse.
Speaking exlusively to Metro.co.uk, Matt reckons bad things will only happen if you believe in the curse.
"The curse only applies if you believe in it, and I don’t."
Pretty simple tactics, there, Matt. Don't believe in bad things and they won't happen! We're into this way of thinking.
He also thinks he will swerve any negative destiny because of the power of Ed Sheeran and his choice in record labels...
"What we’ve done differently this year, is we’ve released a Christmas single (When Christmas Comes Around) written by Ed Sheeran which is amazing – I cannot believe this is happening to me. And I’ve signed to RCA, which I’m really excited about,’ he added. ‘I feel like it’s a label that suits me, it’s better for me. We came to this decision as a whole and we feel like it’s the right move."

Matt is currently sitting pretty at number 3 in the UK charts, just behind Louis Tomlinson who shot straight in at number 2 with his debut solo single.
