Maximo Park are to sell their own brand of booze at their homecoming gig in Newcastle on December 15.

The band play the Metro Radio Arena in a week and have teamed up with Newcastle Brown Ale to personalise the beer.

Maximo Brown Ale will be available at the sold out show and also at selected bars around the country soon. The honour has previously been given to one other Geordie legend Alan Shearer.
