Holy Heck, The First Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials Trailer Has Arrived And It Looks Insane
This is SO EXCITING…
Yesterday (May 18), Dylan O’Brien gave us a sneak peek at the set of 'Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials', which got us feeling pretty darn excited.
Well, now the first proper trailer for the movie has dropped, and we officially have no chill. ALL CHILL IS LOST.
September 17 may seem like lifetimes away right now, but this suitably epic trailer is definitely enough to tide us over for a while - mainly because it’s even better than we imagined it would be.
While the first Maze Runner film was action-packed from the start (a nice change considering most YA book adaptations concentrate on awkward romances and catchphrases), 'Scorch Trials' looks set to kick things up another, like, 12 notches.
If you’ve seen the first film, (and if not, you may want to stop reading, cause spoilers) you’ll know that some of the Gladers make it out of the maze and are ‘rescued’ by WCKD, but obviously, all is not as it seems.
Soon, the group realises that they’re being played, and venture out into ‘The Scorch’, which is like a Mad Max-lite type of landscape that happens to include loads of disease-ridden humans.
Dylan O’Brien likens it to ‘The Walking Dead’, so you just know there’s going to be some bits that make us throw our popcorn all over the place.
What do you make of the first official trailer, then? Better than you expected? Ready to see Dylan and co. in action again? We SO are.
