Though his Instagram snap didn't give fans the clearest view of the ink, his McBusted bandmate James Bourne was happy to post a close-up of the tattoo.

The McFly man went on to tweet: "They wanted me to get it on my bum but I refused. My bum's way too cute to deface."

And he warned his followers against his chosen location, tweeting: "For anyone wondering, feet tattoos hurt like hell. Don't do it unless it's mildly amusing for 10 minutes."
