McFly frontman Tom Fletcher has slammed reports suggesting he deliberately tried to steal bandmate Harry Judd's thunder by [uuid=3cce980a-3ebb-49b1-936c-d50cc1afe360]uploading a video[/uuid] of his wedding speech online.
As we previously reported, Tom posted a clip of his groom's speech on YouTube earlier this week, which showed him thanking his bride and wedding guests by singing and changing the words to some of McFly's biggest hits.

The star has since taken to Twitter to dismiss rumours that he made the video public just one day before Judd's wedding featured in Hello magazine, stating he did not post his speech on purpose to take the spotlight from Harry.

Fletcher tweeted: "I read that article about me posting it to try and "steal Harry's thunder". I had no idea his wedding article was coming out this week!

"If I'd have known I would definitely not have put it up. I only got our wedding video the week before Harry's wedding so I couldn't post it...before. [uuid=c497e852-4278-4012-a663-dfd71e2f34f5]The Judd's wedding[/uuid] was before Christmas so thought it was safe to do it now. Ooops! Sorry. No harm intended!"

He then added: "Sooooo, check out Harry's wedding pics in Hello this week. 'twas a gorgeous wedding for two gorgeous people."
Tom also said he was surprised by how popular his wedding speech has become after it racked up over 700,000 hits on YouTube.
He stated: "Er, can't believe how many views my wedding speech has had. I only really put it up to share it with family…ha!"
