Megan McKenna has hit out at ex-boyfriend Pete Wicks on Twitter and announced to the world that they’re officially done.

Someone hold us while we try to imagine a world where Pegan doesn’t exist.

The TOWIE babe broke the news to fans late Tuesday night, after Pete took it upon himself to say in an interview that they were no longer an item.

“Enough of the shit... yes me and pete have split. I was keeping quite out of respect for him,” she wrote.

“I was keeping quite out of respect for him. But as he's been 'blabbing' and bragging about other Tv shows I will now confirm we are OVER.”

Said ‘blabbing’ would be the fact that Pete admitted at the TRIC Awards that he’s like to go on Celebs Go Dating, simultaneously confirming they’re over.

Meg added: “And have been over for a while. End of the speculations. Now let me move on with my life. Thanks.”

While Pete told The Sun at the awards: “I’m here with James today so you can probably guess my relationship status from that.

“Megan is a good girl but it’s always complicated with her. It’s all about to play out on the show.”

He continued:“I’d definitely like to do Celebs Go Dating but there are other TV shows I’m lined up for too.”

Wow, so Pete’s already moved on then? That was fast.
