During seriously intense scenes in Sunday night’s ep of The Only Way Is Essex, Meg couldn’t fight back the tears as she opened up to Chloe Sims.

'He's a f**king p***k. I can't be with someone like him, he's never happy. I just get angry about it.

'We have split up because we are unhappy. The rumours aren't true,’ she explained.

But what rumours exactly is she talking about? Apparently she was seen with an ex other than Pete, so naturally she wanted to set the record straight.
'I go out and get smashed when I'm unhappy - apparently I was out and all over my ex - I got in a cab with him, and a group of boys. I've done nothing wrong. I'm single.'

She does have a point. Meanwhile Pete continued to confirm that they’ve both made the right decision.

'I would always fight for something worth fighting for, but I don't see what's left to fight for,’ he told Dan Edgar.

'It was so sad. All that passion and fire wasn't there.'
