The reason behind Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks' split has now come to light, and - word to the wise,if you're the kind of person who leaves a trail of mess behind you, it might be time to start changing your ways.

In an episode of TOWIE,Megan opened up to her pal Amber Turner about the fact she doesn't flush the toilet at night, saying it's a "respect" thing in not wanting to bother Pete with the noise.

She explained: "If he flushed and woke me up I'd be fuming."

Bringing up the time that had a run-in over crisp packetsof all topics, she said: "Then it's, 'You don't clean up your crisp packets,' and I just felt like he kept getting quite aggy about it."

Revealing that little things like that often sparked full-on arguments, she said:"This is what happens in our relationship. We speak about things and then it ends up getting into a big row."

So, in hindsight, maybe it's for the best they decided to call it quits. RIP Pegan.
