Meghan Trainor Is All About That No 1 Single

American singer-songwriter claims top spot in singles chart...

Meghan Trainor has landed at the top of the Official UK Singles Chart with All About That Bass.

The 20-year-old pop sensation has already topped the Billboard Hot 100 in her native US and has knocked Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj's Bang Bang down to No 2.

Taylor Swift's Shake It Off is a non-mover at No 3 while Sigma's Changing (ft. Paloma Faith) fell two spots to No 4.

Calvin Harris' Blame (ft. John Newman) rounds out the top five.

Meanwhile over in the Official UK Albums Chart, George Ezra has scored his first No 1 with Wanted On Voyage - rising three places from last week.

Sam Smith's In The Lonely Hour was up one spot at No 2 and Ed Sheeran's X rose three spots to No 3.

Comeback kid Jamie T had a new entry with Carry On The Grudge at No 4 and Barbra Streisand's Partners fell three spots to No 5.
