Meghan Trainor is back and better than ever. Not only is the 'All About That Bass' star killing it with her new single 'No Excuses' but she's also getting ready to release her highly anticipated third studio album later this year. We couldn't be more excited.

Last month Meghan sat down with us to take us through her incredible 'No Excuses' video in MTV Laid Bare.

Discussing the direction of the visual, Meghan said: "I wanted it to be really pretty andI wanted it to be my favourite colours and my Pinterest. The backgrounds are literally what's on my Pinterestso it's amazing to see my dreams come true in a video."

"I wanted triplets so it had to be me three different times, three differentangles, so nine times for each look."

Amazing. The thought of the world having three different Meghan's is too incredible for us tocomprehend.

Opening up about working with Colin Tilley ('Wolves', 'Anaconda', 'Wild Thoughts' on the video, Meghan said: "Colin was amazing. He actually was the nicest, I mean I don't want to say the nicest director ever but he kind of was the nicest director ever.

"Any opinions I had, he was like 'yeah let's do it', which is crazy because I don't know I'm always so shy with directors because I write the song, I don't direct music videos, so my input I don't know but he listened and that made me feel really special."

You can tell that their rapport really paid off. It's easily one of our favourite Meghan visuals to date.

'No Excuses' is the lead single from Meghan's as yet untitled new album.
