Meghan Trainor Storms To No 1 With Debut Album

Whilst Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars continue to funk at the top of the singles chart…

Meghan Trainor has claimed the No 1 spot in the Official UK Albums Chart with her debut album, Title.

The All About That Bass babe knocks Mark Ronson off the top spot with her LP, seeing an end to the super-producer’s week-long reign at the top of both the singles and albums chart.

[related]Mark Ronson’s Uptown Special falls to No 3 this week, as Ed Sheeran climbs up one place to take the No 2 spot with X.

Sam Smith’s In The Lonely Hour stays at No 4, whilst Wanted On Voyage by George Ezra rounds out the top 5.

Over in the Official UK Singles Chart, Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars score a seventh week at No 1 with Uptown Funk.

Hozier’s Take Me To Church climbs up one place to No 2 as L.A. Love (La La) from Fergie soars to No 3 in its second week in the charts.

Meghan Trainor slips two places to No 4 with Lips Are Movin, whilst Rihanna’s FourFiveSeconds (ft.Kanye West & Paul McCartney) makes its chart debut at No 5.
