Little Noise Attracts Some Big Names
Some of the biggest names in UK music are gathering for a week of live gigs in aid of disability charity Mencap
The Guillemots, The Kooks, Paolo Nutini, K.T. Tunstall, James Morrison, Amy Winehouse, The Fratellis and Noel Gallagher all headline this series of intimate gigs at The Union Chapel in North London.
Jo Whiley, whose sister Frances has a learning disability, is curating the gigs and played a major part in ensuring the phenomenal lineup.
Jo, who is now an Ambassador for Mencap, explains her involvement: "When I was younger, I was a member of a group called SIBS which was set up by Mencap to help people who had brothers and sisters with a learning disability ... Music has definitely helped create a bond between myself and Frances."
With the line-up Jo and Mencap have managed to pull together - including support from the likes of Lily Allen, The Mystery Jets, The View, and promising new singer/songwriter Jamie T - we think Jo and Frances could well be doing some sisterly bonding at this event...

The gigs run between Sunday 19 and Monday 27 of November.
