Nominees For Mercury Revealed

The Nationwide Mercury Prize nominees for 2007 have been announced with the shortlist including two former winners - in the shape of Dizzee Rascal and Arctic Monkeys - alongside a whole host of debuts.

The bookies were quick to announce Amy Winehouse and Arctic Monkeys as joint 4-1 favourites.

All twelve Albums Of The Year will be celebrated at the Nationwide Mercury Prize awards show on Tuesday September 4 when the winner is announced.
