The Nationwide Mercury Prize nominees for 2007 have been announced with the shortlist including two former winners - in the shape of Dizzee Rascal and Arctic Monkeys - alongside a whole host of debuts.

The bookies were quick to announce Amy Winehouse and Arctic Monkeys as joint 4-1 favourites.
