M.I.A Album On Its Way

M.I.A has said she is close to completing her “odd” third album, which is set for release this summer.
The Sri-Lankan-born-London-raised star has been working with Diplo and Blaqstarr on the record.
Song titles include I’m Down Like Your Internet Connection and I Fight The Ones That Fight Me.
Speaking to Rolling Stone M.I.A- real name Maya- said she’ll be using her full vocal range, explaining:
“I just stopped singing on the last one because I put more emphasis into production, so I was more about making beats and sang less on my last album.”
And the Paper Planes singer said she doesn’t want to be trendy but just wants to make good songs.
“I definitely needed to come to music on this album, to make music. I don't want it to be gimmicky or silly or hipstery.” She told RS.
“I just want to be real, whatever that is. Even if my songs are sh*t, and if I have flaws and if I'm confused, if I offend people or if I don't offend people.”
MTV can’t wait to hear this album…
