M.I.A. Asks Madonna For $16Million After Being Hit With NFL Fine
It seems the rapper's middle finger could cost her as the organisation demands she cough up the cash...
The Paper Planes hitmaker is facing a $16.6 million (£9.1m) fine for sticking up her middle finger during the Queen of Pop's Super Bowl half-time show back in February 2012.
In response to the news, M.I.A. tweeted: "@madonna ummm ..... can i borrow 16 million?"

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the NFL is suing M.I.A. for breaching her performance contract and 'tarnishing' its goodwill and reputation.
The fine was originally set at $1.5million, but after chasing the star for two years for the payment, they had added $15.1million in restitution on top.
NFL claim that the additional $15.1m is what advertisers would have paid M.I.A. for her two-minute appearance slot when joining Madge and Nicki Minaj on stage for their collaboration, Give Me All Your Luvin'.
The organisation also states that it amounts to the cost of any extra exposure M.I.A. received after flipping the bird. The rapper was not being paid for her Super Bowl stint.
As well as asking Madonna for the cash, the star - real name Mathangi 'Maya' Arulpragasam - also tweeted a screenshot of an email that seems to outline how she can pay up.
She accompanied the image with the caption: "THIS IS WHAT THEY WANT ME TO SIGN , THAT IVE BEEN FIGHTING FOR 2 YEARS ON TOP OF 16 MILLION."
In documents obtained by THR, M.I.A. is also said to have told the arbitrator that the "continued pursuit of this proceeding is transparently an exercise by the NFL intended solely to bully and make an example of Respondents for daring to challenge NFL."
