Want To Make Merch For M.I.A? Well Now You Can
Ever wanted to make merch for one of your favourite artists? M.I.A is letting you do just that.
Ever wanted to make merch for your favourite artists? Well now you can. M.I.A has decided against selling her own merchandise, and has released designs that fans can use to make their own clothing.
Earlier this week, M.I.A said that she had chosen not make merchandise herself in a tweet: “Can't even [bring] myself to make merch -destroying environment and enslaving peeps can I just give u a vector and you print on ur T/hoodie.”

M.I.A doesn’t mess around, and later made good on her promise. A series of official logos and designs have now been uploaded to her website, with the singer tweeting: “HERE ARE THE DESIGNS > GET CRACKIN”.

In other news, M.I.A revealed that she wrote new song ‘Freedun’ with Zayn Malik over Whatsapp. “We have the same publishers and they wanted me to demo some songs for Zayn,” the singer said. “Before I started writing properly my own stuff [for A.I.M.], I was thinking maybe I’ll write for other people instead.”
“I really wanted to write a song for Zayn….We had a couple people in common. And that’s how it came about. I didn’t really approach him for my own record until later on. First, I thought I wanted to try writing a song for him.”
“We’ve just been going back and forth on, you know, WhatsApp.” And with that, the rest of us all suddenly feel like we’ve not been using WhatsApp the right way. For more on that, head over here.
