XXXO is the Sri Lanka born star’s most pop track to date and features her singing ‘you want me to be somebody, who I’m really not’ on the chorus.

It’s a far cry from the punk distortion on first single Born Free. That track already has a controversial 9 minute video featuring violence towards ginger people!

A post on M.I.A’s label website has also revealed that her third album will be called MAYA- her real name. Her first two albums were named after her mother and father.

The album is due out on July 13 and will feature production from Diplo, Switch, Rusko and John Hill.
