Conrad Murray Found Guilty At Jackson Trial
Dr. Conrad Murray has been found guilty of the involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson, who died in 2009.
As the six week trial came to a close early this morning (November 08) the jury gave their decision following last week's final statements from Deputy District Attorney David Walgren and Murray's defence attorney Ed Chernoff.
Murray remained silent in his seat as the verdict was given, before being led from the courtroom in handcuffs.
He is currently being remanded in custody and will be sentenced on November 29, when he could face up to four years in jail.
Several Jackson family members were also in attendance, including the late singer's parents Joe and Katherine Jackson, sister LaToya and brothers Jermaine and Randy.
Earlier in the trial, Murray had been [uuid=f95315e7-04fd-4f4b-ab62-6c285711d344]reduced to tears after hearing evidence[/uuid] from an ex-patient, who had protested the doctor's innocence.
